How The System Works
Mosquitos NO MORE misting systems apply an ultra-low concentration of pyrethrum into the air two to five times a day. These systems rely upon the spray frequency “knocking down” the mosquito population when the outdoor area is used most often. The installations typically involve at least 3 basic elements:

Mosquitos NO MORE selects a sealed tank with a clock assembly that holds the chemicals introduced through the nozzles. A timer on the tank works in a manner similar to automatic sprinkler systems and is preset by our Certified Designers to deliver the appropriate amount and frequency of the misting solution to the target area,

A series of sprayers/nozzles installed in an inconspicuous manner along/around the perimeter of the area targeted for mosquito protection, and

Tubing may be mounted to a structure or buried inside a pvc pipe (to protect it from being dug up by mistake) in the ground that connects the sealed tank assembly with the sprayers and nozzles.

Our systems are used in both commercial and residential markets to dramatically reduce the presence of mosquitoes, and other flying insects in the containment area. The size of the tank and the number of nozzles required for an installation is dependent upon the size of the area to be protected.

Many of our systems utilize Pyrethrum as the primary pesticide introduced to the air via the misting nozzles. The active ingredient, pyrethrin, is extracted from the chrysanthemum plant, Dendranthemum(Chrysanthemum)inerariaefolium, which is grown primarily in Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Ecuador.

In addition, Mosquitos NO MORE may select to add or substitute other mixtures, for your specific needs. In this manner, only Mosquitos NO MORE is able to optimize the performance of the misting systems for the specific characteristics of the target area.
Most insects are highly susceptible to pyrethrum at low concentrations. The compound acts rapidly on insects, causing immediate "knockdown." Flying insects drop almost immediately upon exposure. Pyrethrums also are highly irritating to insects, so they may be used as a "flushing agent" or irritant to make them come out of hiding.
